Last but not least - THE BILLION DOLLAR SEARCH WAS LAUCHED ON 22.04.2009 - under domain name:
www.thebilliondollarsearch.com
The Main Purpose of Internet is Information. Search engines who spider, index and reproduce the content of webpages are central tools of the internet. A WebSpider is normally a very good developed tool that can crawl and index complete websites and rank them in several criterias. We offer you a complete new vision of a Search Engine. Our Technolgy combines the user submitted content, keywords and ads with the spidered content and gives a mathematical ranking of the Keyword for the Internet, not only of the webpage. Our System lets the User choose, buy, rank the keywords and therefore it will be less redundant content. It’s time to let everybody create the content of a search engine. The Price is symbolic and we just want to filter all the free content of internet so that information that is beeing paid for will be more valuable to everybody.
This is a new advertising system, a new information system, an online lexicon to wich the contribution of many is expected.
- Advertise As Much As You Can -

” Hello World ! ”
… Starting a new web search engine, new advertising system, new online information system and new social networks, auction systems, classified system during the financial crisis… How would this impact on public, to start new internet business during a financial crisis?
Our system is original , new and we develop this system manually, we don’t use any IDE or Programming Environment. This system will take a long time to be developed because we are concearned of bringing the new ideas as quick as possible but not using patterns, predefined templates (exept this news section). The whole system is programmed line by line in the simple PHP language with some Javascript, Ajax, C and of course Mysql. We want to have full control of our creation, and we really want to make great progresses. A system that is developed carefully and manually, fixing bugs along the development, testing and debugging new features is done on the fly and using normal text editors with code higlight. Our CSS and Style Sheets are developed also manually and even if it does’n work on all possible webbrowsers and resolutions we’ll fix these bugs along the full system development. We don’t establish yet a template, our pages may differ one from another, yet you’ll get to know you are still on a ” Macoway.com ” site.
We hate people that copy ideas, not programming code but ideas. Ideas should be respected, patented and protected in this world. If every idea could remain uncopied and every creator would have the maximum archievments from his personal idea the world would be a better place. If you appreciate our idea, our target and the way we develop and promote it please use our services and respect them and we’ll respect your ideas to and promote them or help you develop them and bring them to the entire world.
Instead of owning a copyright for our idea we would rather create the whole system so that it cannot be copied, but before we can do this, we know there are many copycats arround trying to steal anything, therefore we would protect the system by a copyright.

When did everything start ? by Ovidiu Macovei
I was working on a search engine in the year 2008 but had nothing new, nothing original and I was seeking to create somthing new. I was already smashed down because of lack of funds and even a Google Adense Account that got closed unexpectedly so in December 2008 I just had the idea of starting a complete new, full sponsored search engine that would solve problems that other information systems and other search engines don’t. The Original Idea came on 22 December 2008 while i was at a small party at a friends house. People were talking about ideas that make money online, and about internet, and i was sitting there listening and suddenly it all went through my head like a crossing star. THE WORLDS FIRST FULL SPONSORED SEARCH ENGINE - had to be done. But how would you start this and how would people pay for keywords when you are so small and nobody knows about you ?
I did think about how difficult it is and if it would be a succes or if mankind would need this. But i started to work on it and in january 2009 i had a little website that was asking people to pay for keywords when somebody searched for something. I was working on other webprojects and before getting really into work with the new idea I tried to gain some customers and all this happened between january and march 2009. One of the first words i sold were ” cars ” to a friend who is selling cars and then i sold ” sex ” to somebody who had only a hi5 profile, but wanted to own this keyword on what had to be a promise to become the first international sponsored search engine.
As far as things were working i tried to develop the system, i was not running to gain more customers, I preffered to keep the project ” secret ” a little while and to develop it. At the End of 2009, doing not much advertising but a banner in the center of my city wich wasn’t quite inspired and clear, i had about 1653 $ on my website, meaning 1653 letters sold in keywords. It wasn’t much but anyway over 150 $ / month from a complete new idea, and a system that was developed slowly by me, not even using an IDE, i was writing everything manually.

Motivation :
People sell so many dumb and bad things in this world that you cannot even imagine. Why would I sell ” Keywords “? Who needs them ? Is this not a little too much or too far to think ?
Every business tires to sell as much as possible from their service or product. Ultimatelly all companies or organisations try to get money and power.
My Question is : Is a ” word ” not meaning money and power ? Who decides if i am allowed to do this ? Who can decide if I am not allowed to do it ? My Lawyer agreed that the system can be very usefull, afordable and efficient, and that I am allowed to do this. So today, 04.01.2010 I am selling Keywords to the entire Planet. Other people sell drugs, alcoohol, weapons, cars, cellphones, clicks, sms, buildings, airplaines, sex, movies, books and so on.
Macoway.com is the system that tries to sell Keywords. We are a team now and working constantly to sell ” our product ” - why we are allowed to do this ? Because we had the idea first !!! We are not God, We are not Google or Microsoft, we are a small company starting a new online business, and we are trying to make this a success and an usefull concept.
Thank you for using our system !
P.S.: In 2010 the target is at least 100.000 $ so let’s stay tunned if this will really happen.

The financial crisis, Google and Yahoo!

The world is heading into a global recession. Will search companies like Google and Yahoo! come out as winners or losers?
Yahoo! announced that it would lay off 10 percent of its workforce this week. Is the search engine industry feeling the recession already?
There might be optimists out there that continue to believe that a global economic downturn can be avoided, but we do not belong to them.
When confidence in the market evaporates and people fear for their jobs, they will cut spending. Weakening sales will push more companies into the abyss, leading to more unemployment, less spending and so on and so forth. In short: There are tough times ahead.
Not all companies suffer during downturns. People still need basic goods like food. Department stores offering cheap clothing may thrive during a recession. The question is: Where are search companies like Google and Yahoo! positioned in this spectrum?
People will probably look to the Net for cheap entertainment
As regards the user base, a recession may lead to more traffic. Unless they get so poor that they have to drop their internet service provider, people may spend more time on the Net searching for news and entertainment. It won’t cost them more anyway.
Cinemas, amusements parks and stores selling DVDs and CDs will suffer much more.
As the business sector lay of employees the Internet traffic generated by companies may go down, but the same people may continue to surf the web elsewhere, so it is hard to guess how much this will affect the search engine companies.
Email and chat traffic will probably not go down, again because there are no added costs for using these services.
Enterprise search will suffer
There is one area where search companies like Exalead and Microsoft’s Fast will notice the downturn: As companies start saving, they are less likely to invest in new enterprise search solutions.
There is one exception from this rule: Some web companies and online stores will probably like to upgrade their site search in order to keep more customers happy. As competitions increases, these are the kind of factors that decides who win and who lose.
Advertising
You may argue that discussing web traffic is not the point, as the real search engine customer is not the web surfer, but the advertiser.
Fair enough, the advertisers are the ones that pay most of the bills of Google, Yahoo!, Ask and Microsoft Live. Still, the amount of web traffic determines the attractiveness of the ad offerings of these companies. In short: the more eyeballs, the more ad spending.
And if you are able to deliver relevant customers to the advertisers — i.e. potential customers looking for exactly the kind of services or goods the advertisers are offering — the chances are that you will be able to keep many of your advertisers.

Google has, for instance, invested millions of dollars into research making text ads more targeted and relevant to searchers. This is exactly the kind of investments that pay of during a crisis.
We would guess that companies short of cash will spend more on online pay per click ads than on huge billboards and TV spots. Pay per click ads are cheaper, and it is easier to control the effects of the expenditure.
The banner ad is the loser
There is one area where these companies may feel the credit crunch more acutely, and that is in banner ads and more dynamic, graphic, Flash advertising, exactly the kind of ads you will find on Yahoo!, AOL and MSN. These are sites that rely more on content delivery than search result pages.
The delivery of graphic ads like these are not as targeted towards the interest of the reader as are text ads accompanying search results or emails. The click through rate and the rate of return is therefore normally lower.
Such ads are often used for the branding effect, but that effect is much harder to measure, making them harder to defend when companies start seeing a lot of red numbers.
That is bad news for Yahoo!, a company that is just as much a content deliverer as a search provider, but good news for Google, a company that still has its main focus on search results.
Bad time for start-ups
The search and Web 2.0 companies that will suffer the most under the oncoming “Internet Winter”, as some has called it, are probably smaller companies and start-ups, companies that are not yet generating a sustainable stream of revenue.
The reason for this is the lack of venture capital. Banks starved of cash will also be more reluctant to help smaller companies stay afloat during a recession.
